Cooking Tips: Getting rid of scorch marks on pans

To clean pots and pans that have had burned on food or scorch marks, make a paste of water and baking soda. Rub the compound into the burned area, then let it sit for about an an hour. The scorch marks should come out then with a regular dishwashing in the sink.
