Children's Gourmet Gifts
Written by Marcia Porch
Perfect for kids!
Here's a cook/craft book your kids will love, including 12 gifts from your kitchen projects that kids and adults can make together. Some of the projects are as simple as measuring ingredients together to make gourmet mixes that can be prettily packaged and given as gifts, others like the Charming Cookie Bouquets are a bit more complicated and suitable for older kids. All in all, there are plenty of ideas for all kids in the 3 to 12 range.
Here's a great way to spend time with your kids and get them into the spirit of holiday gift giving, without spending a lot of money. The book is filled with lots of gorgeous full-color photos to get every enthused about the projects. Each project is rated for ease (easy, medium or advanced) and amount of skill necessary (most are ultra-easy). Chapters include:
Marzipan Ducks
Chocolate Kitty Truffles
Caramel Popcorn Hands
Herbes de Provence Rice Mix
Best Snack Mix
Farfalle Chicken Soup Mix
Decorated, Dipped Stirring Spoons
Comfy Hot Cocoa Mix
Mulled Cider with a Twist
