Yogurt Cheese is a great way to save some calories and fat when preparing dips and spreads. You can substitute Yogurt Cheese in any recipe that calls for sour cream and cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • 32-ounces low-fat or full-fat plain yogurt

Directions

  1. Using a colander lined with muslin or cheesecloth, strain yogurt over a large mixing bowl.
  2. Cover everything with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Discard liquid and use "cheese" as called for in your recipe.
