
Tuna noodle casserole

This classic tuna noodle casserole is a perfect comfort food staple.
Ingredients
- 2 5-ounce cans tuna in water
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup butter crackers (like Ritz), crushed
- 2 1/2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cook noodles according to directions on the package, then add peas during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soup, milk and garlic powder. Stir in noodles, peas and tuna (drained).
- Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish, and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, top with cracker crumbs and return to oven for another 5 minutes.
