Tomato garlic pasta

You can whip this tomato garlic pasta together for a quick dinner to an accompaniment to a main dish.


  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 4 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and saute chopped garlic until tender.
  2. Add tomatoes, oregano, and basil, and continue cooking for 8 minutes or until tender.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Prepare pasta according to directions on the package, drain.
  5. Transfer spaghetti to serving dish, and toss with olive oil.
  6. Pour tomato garlic mixture over top, gently toss, then serve.
