Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack time. These Sun-dried Tomato Crescents are delicious enough for any time of day. Variation: 1. Lightly scramble 2 eggs and layer into crescents for breakfast option.  2. Layer pepperoni for pizza-like crescents.

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 8 teaspoons sun-dried tomato sauce or spread
  • 4 teaspoons ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
  3. Spoon 1 teaspoon of sauce onto short side of triangles.
  4. Layer 1/2 teaspoon of ricotta cheese over sauce.
  5. Roll triangles to form crescents and place point side down on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Brush crescents with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  7. Place in oven and bake 10-13 minutes.
