Yum, cheesecake. This is a great, easy recipe for Sour Cream Cheesecake. Remember, this will need to refrigerate overnight, so prepare ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, divided
  • 1 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar.
  2. Press crust mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan. Chill.
  3. Cream together cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour mixture over crust and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
  5. When done, cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Combine sour cream, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  7. Smooth over the top of the cheesecake and bake 10 more minutes.
  8. Cool, then refrigerate overnight.
