Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic is a delicious, aromatic herb added to many great dishes. Once you master preparing it yourself, there will be know need for using store bought.
Ingredients
- 1-4 bulbs of garlic
- 2 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil for each garlic bulb
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Being sure to keep the bulb intact, peel away most of the papery skin.
- Slice off about 1/4-inch from the top of the bulb to expose the cloves.
- Place each bulb, cut side up, on a piece of foil.
- Brush each bulb with 2 teaspoons of oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Wrap foil around the bulb, place in a shallow baking pan, and cook for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Garlic can be squeezed out of the cloves for use.
