Primavera means spring and this recipe for Pasta Primavera combines delicious flavors and vegetables in one colorful dish to brighten any day. Just like springtime!
Tip: Julienne is just a fancy term for cutting into thin strips.
Variation: Try adding other fresh vegetable to suit your own taste. It's hard to go wrong with fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups cooked spaghetti
Directions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Mince garlic and julienne carrots.
- In a large sauce pan, mix remaining ingredients.
- Cook, uncovered, for about 12 minutes till the broccoli and carrots are tender.
- Stir in cooked spaghetti and serve.
