Creamy Loaded Mashed Potatoes

You may think it is impossible to make mashed potatoes any better than they already are, but this recipe for Creamy Loaded Mashed Potatoes is over the top delicious.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds potatoes
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 green onions
- 6 slices of bacon
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
- Peel and cube potatoes.
- Place potatoes in a pot of water and bring to a boil.
- While waiting for the potatoes to boil, cook bacon and drain bacon when done.
- Reduce potatoes to low and cook 10 minutes. Drain and mash in the pot when done.
- Finely chop bacon and onion.
- Add 1 cup cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, onions and 4 strips worth of crumbled bacon to the pot of potatoes. Stir well.
- Spoon mixture into the casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- Top with remaining cheese and bacon, then return to oven for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
