Chicken Dijon

With chicken being a staple of most dinners, you can never have too many recipes. Chicken Dijon is a tangy and creamy variation the whole family will enjoy.


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablspoon dijon mustartd
  • 2 tablspoons soy sauce
  • the juice of 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Melt butter in a large skillet. Cook chicken about 8 minutes or until done.
  2. Remove chicken from the pan, but keep warm.
  3. Using the same pan, stir together broth, half and half, juice, and soy sauce.
  4. Then mix together the flour and a little water in a cup to form a paste.
  5. Add the past to the pan and whisk until thickened.
  6. Stir in mustard to complete the sauce and serve over chicken.
