Broth Simmered Rice is a nice alternative to ordinary rice. Cooking it in broth rather than plain water gives it that chicken flavor without over paying for the premade stuff at the store.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces of chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup uncooked, regular rice

Directions

  1. Bring broth to a boil in saucepan.
  2. Stir in rice.
  3. Cover and cook on low for about 20 minutes.
