Baked Pita Chips are a great low-fat snack that is easy to make at home. Great for a variety of meal and snack options. Perfect with fresh hummus!

Ingredients

  • 6 pita breads
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • dried basil, if desired
  • grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions

  1. Use a knife to split pita breads around the edge to create 12 rounds.
  2. Brush each round with melted butter.
  3. Cut each round into 8 wedges.
  4. Sprinkle with basil and Parmesan if desired.
  5. Bake for 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cool slightly before serving.
