Recipe: Open-Faced Cheese Toast with Beans

Quickie meal or afternoon snack, this is sure to please your on-the-go kiddos!

Ingredients:
Bread (1 or 2 slices per person)
Cheese Slice (1 per piece of bread)
Ranch Style Beans (Cooking for 1 - use the single serving can; for 2-4, use the 15 oz. can)

How to make this recipe:
Put the cheese slices on bread and toast it. Heat the Ranch Style Beans (microwave or stovetop, microwave is less mess). Spoon the beans over the cheese toast and serve. It's easy and super quick! Serve on paper plates. Virtually no mess to clean up.

Notes: This certainly is not the most nutritional meal, but it is fairly low fat and less than 300 calories. Using low fat (not non-fat) cheese and reduced fat/cal bread helps if that's a concern.

Prep time: 5 minutes or less

Serves 1 - 4
