1 lb. of lean grounf beef
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 can consumme Campbells soup
3/4 can of water
1 stick of oleo or butter
1-1/2 tsps. of cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 medium onion sliced thin
How to make this recipe:
Mix together beef, bread crumbs garlice egg make into small meatballs. In a large skillet, melt oleo or butter brown meatballs remove when brown.
To the oleo that is left, add onion slices cook till tender and transparent add back your meatball add soup with water I mix the water in the leftover can cook for 15 minutes then mix cornstarch and water add and stir to boiling ingrediences till your desire of thickness. Serve over rice. You can make this for lunch or dinner, but it is a great dinner recipe
Notes: This has always been one of my family's favorites and if I don't have time to make the meatballs I buy them already made at the grocery store in the freezer. All you need is a salad and hot rolls and you have a terrific dinner.
