1 can of crushed tomatoes
1 can of pork and beans
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
3-4 Carrots
3-4 stalks of celery
Parsley
Oregano
Basil
Bay leaves
Salt
Pepper
Hamburger meat
1 cup cooked barley

How to make this recipe:
Saute chopped onion and garlic in a small amount of oil in deep pot.
Add crushed tomatoes and pork and beans. Fill each empty can with water. Add celery and carrots, and add remaining spices to taste.
Make small meatballs the size of a nickel, and drop into the soup.
Cook on medium until vegetables are done, then simmer. Add a pinch of sugar to dilute the acid from the tomatoes.
Serve hot and topped with parmesan cheese. Notes: Serving sizes may vary, according to the size tomato can that is used.
