1/2 lb. Green Beans
2 tsp. sesame seeds
1 small clove garlic, finely chopped or pressed
4 tsp. seseame oil
1/2 tsp. soy sauce
2 grinds or shakes of pepper
How to make this recipe:
Steam the beans. While they are cooking, toast the sesame seeds in a small frying pan over medium-low heat. Stir them so they don't burn. The sesame seeds are done when they begin to look shiny and a bit brown. Remove them from heat.
When beans are cooked and dry, put them in a bowl and add the garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and pepper. Stir well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
To serve cold, allow beans to cool. Then, cover the bowl and refrigerate until you are ready to serve. Prep time: 15 min.
