1 pound ground beef
2 pks cornbread mix
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can cream-style corn
1 pound cheddar cheese, grated
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 can refried beans
Optinal items:
onion, diced
mushrooms
hot peppers
How to make this recipe:
Brown ground beef and season as desired. Drain meat and add refried beans.
Mix cornbread according to directions, then add drained whole-kernel corn, cream-style corn, rotel tomatoes, and half of the cheese.
Place half of cornbread mixture in a 9 x 13 pan. Layer with meat, remaining cheese and any optional items desired.
Cover with remaining cornbread mixture and bake as directed by cornbread package directions.
