1 head napa cabbage, chopped
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped (optional)
1-2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
2 packs ramen noodles, crumbled (discard flavor packet)
4 tablespoons butter
2-3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 package slivered almonds
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
How to make this recipe:
1. Toss greens and vegetables together in large bowl.
2. Brown ramen noodles, sesame seeds and nuts in butter. Cool. Set aside in sealed container until ready to serve.
3. Boil and stir the oil, vinegar, sugar and soy for one minute. Cool and reserve until ready to serve.
4. Toss greens, ramen/nut mixture and dressing. Serve immediately - once all ingredients are mixed, salad will not keep. 8 or more servings
