1 pound ground beef
1-16 oz can kidney beans, drained
1-16 oz can pork and beans, DO NOT drain
1-15 oz can butter beans (small), drained
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons vinegar
How to make this recipe:
Brown beef and onions, drain. Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cook one hour on high, stirring occasionally.
Note: We have also cooked on the stove with equally good - and obviously speedier - results. For a meal at home, this is excellent served over bow-tie pasta with cornbread on the side.
