Aggression Cookies

A thin, crispy, buttery cookie that is a fun, easy cookie to make and is perfect for making with children as you mash and squish and form (thus the name aggression cookies). Perfect! Also good with raisins/currants.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 Tablespoon baking soda
1-1/2 cups margarine or butter, softened
1-1/2 cups flour
3 cups oatmeal

Directions:
Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mash, knead and squeeze. Then form into small balls and put on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Butter the bottom of a small glass and dip it into granulated sugar and mash the cookie flat, just a little. You only have to butter the glass once or twice but be sure and dip in sugar for each cookie.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool a few minutes then remove from pan to cooling rack.

They are supposed to be very crunchy and buttery so don't think you have overcooked them.
