Cherry chocolate cordial cups

Takes a little prep time - but well worth it!

Ingredients:
20 paper candy liners
1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp shortening
1/4 c cherry pie filling
1-2 tsp kirsch liqueur

Directions:
Double the paper liners to make 10 cups. Microwave the chocolate and shortening at medium power for three minutes. Spoon 1 tsp melted chocolate into each cup.

Using a spoon or small paintbrush, cover the paper cup within 1/8 inch of the top. Freeze 15 mns; remove paper cups.In a small bowl, combine cherry filling and kirsch. Fill each chocolate cup with cherry mixture.

Refrigerate until serving time. Any cups leftover can be frozen.


Prep time: 35 minutes

Makes 10 cups
