Pasta Vasiole

Ditalini pasta with onions and peas

Ingredients:
Ditalini pasta
1 onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cans sweet peas
4 slices bacon(optional)
Pinch of salt
1 tsp pepper
1 can of water

Directions:
Slice onion thin, place olive oil in saute pan add onions, saute until onions are soft(not fried).

If using bacon saute with onions.

Add peas with juice to onions and add all the spices.

Cook on low heat until mixed about 20-25 minutes.

While peas are cooking, cook ditalini. Drain pasta and add the peas to the pasta. Mix well. Serve.

Serve this with some garlic bread or a salad.


Prep time: 20 minutes

Serves about 4-6.
