Kharcho SoupIngredients:
Beef soup bones
1 cup rice
2 small potatoes
1/2 carrot
1/2 small onion
1 tbs ketchup
1 tbs fresh chopped dill
3-4 cloves garlic
salt to tasteDirections:
Brown beef bones in skillet just until golden.
Fill a medium pot 3/4 with water add beef bones, boil (covered)on low for 1 to 1-1/2 hrs. Salt to taste. Add rice, cook for 10 minutes then add chopped potatoes, cook for 15 minutes.
Add chopped onion. Grate carrot and brown in skillet w/ a little bit of oil, add ketchup. Pour into soup.
Add dill and crushed garlic. Enjoy!
Cooking time: 2 hours; Preparation 20 minutes
