Cream Puffs

Ingredients:
1 cup boiled water
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup flour
4 eggs
Powdered sugar
Instant pudding or custard

Directions:
Boil water and add shortening and salt until shortening is melted. Turn water off. Add flour all at one time and mix until a ball forms. Remove from heat. Add eggs one at a time until completely mixed. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Cook at 450 degrees for 20 minutes and then turn oven down to 350 degrees and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and slice, remove the doughy part of the puff in the middle after slicing. Let cool.

Fill with instant pudding. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. After filling, keep refrigerated.

Serve with ice cream
