Rice Casserole

This is a nice side dish for company.

Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 can consomee
3/4 can water
3/4 can boiling water with chicken bullion cube
1&1/2 Tbs. salad herbs
1&1/2 Tbs. parsley flakes

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute onion. Mix with next 5 ingredients and put into casserole dish. Sprinkle with salad herbs and parsley flakes.

Cover and bake for 1 hour, stirring after 45 minutes.


Prep time: 20 minutes

Serves 6
