Grandma's Sausage CasseroleThis recipe was passed down from my grandmother to my mom, who in turn, passed it down to me. It is something that even the picky eaters will enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground sausage
2 pks. saffron yellow rice
1 pk. dry onion soup mix
waterDirections:
In a skillet brown sausage and drain. In a 2 quart casserole dish, combine rice, soup and amount of water rice packs direct. Stir well. Top with sausage but do not stir.
Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves 6
