Chicken Pasta

A quick and easy - but filling - dinner.

Ingredients:
3/4 lb chicken breast tenders
1 jar commercial tomato alfredo pasta sauce
1 lb pasta (whichever you prefer-I use angel hair)
1 small jar mushrooms
dried oregano
grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Sprinkle chicken with oregano. Saute in about 2 Tbs olive oil
for about 3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove from heat and chop into bite-size pieces, if desired.
Heat sauce as directed; drain mushrooms and add to sauce.
Add chicken and simmer on low, just to keep hot.

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Toss pasta, sauce and chicken together; top with parmesan. Serve immediately.


Prep time: Approximately 20 minutes

Serves 4-6
