Monkey Bread

A cinnamon-type coffee cake, delicious for breakfast or anytime! This really goes over well at holiday time.

Ingredients:
4 cans cheap biscuits
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
mix 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon in large bowl. Cut biscuits in quarters. Toss in dry mixture to coat.

Place coated biscuits in well-buttered bundt pan.

Next: Bring 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 stick butter, and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to a rolling boil. Pour over biscuits.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are lightly browned.


Notes: Sometimes I add pecans, though it's just as good without.
