June's Caramels

Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup Karo (corn) syrup

Directions:
Add all ingredients to medium sauce pan. Bring to medium boil and cook to just almost hard ball stage. Pour mixture into buttered 9 x 13 casserole dish and allow to cool.

Cut into squares before caramels become too hard. Once completely cooled, remove candy from dish and wrap squares in waxed paper.
