Susie-Q Strawberry Amaretto Drink

One night I had some strawberries and couldn't think of what else to do with them so, I thought up a drink for my wife came out so good I put it here.

Ingredients:
1 quart fresh strawberries
6 six oz cans pineapple juice
2 cups sugar
6 oz amaretto

Directions:
Cut up strawberries into small pieces, put into a bowl and cover with sugar. Cover bowl and put into refrigerator over night.
The strawberries and sugar will make a sweet strawberry juice mixture.

To make 2 drinks:

In blender add 3/4 cup of the strawberry/sugar mixture, 6 oz pineapple juice and 1 oz of amaretto, I used Lazzaroni Amaretto but I guess any type would do.
Blend on high till it foams up, pour into two 8 oz glasses.

For frozen drink:
After blending put in freezer till icy, then pour into glasses.

Serve cold, frozen, over ice cream.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Ingredents will make up to 12 drinks.
