Popeye's salad

Delicious iron and C vitamin filled salad

Ingredients:
Salad:
1 bag of baby green spinach
2 oranges
2 Granny Smith apples
Pine nuts

Dressing:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tbsp Origan
1 tsp crushed mint

Directions:
Salad:
Wash spinach and put it into a salad bowl. Peel oranges and cut in small pieces; add to spinach
cut apples and add to spinach (not necessary to peel). Add pine nuts to your taste.

Dressing:
Mix all ingredients together
Put in a separate bowl to allow people to use it at their convenience.


Prep time: 10 minutes

Serves 6-8.

Spinach leaves are rich in iron. Everyone knows that. But in order to absorb that iron, vitamin C is required. This combination salad provides both and is absolutely delicious!
