Christmas Cranberry Salad

A gelatin salad with crunchy walnuts,celery and fresh cranberries.

Ingredients:
1 bag of fresh cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 large box of lemon and cherry gelatin
1 cup of chopped celery
1 cup of chopped walnuts

Directions:
In a saucepan, bring the cranberries and sugar to a boil. Boil until berries begin to pop and remove from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice.

Add both boxes of Jello and stir well until dissolved. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until partially set, about one hour.

Stir in the celery and walnuts. Return to the refrigerator until completely set.


Prep time: About 15 minutes

Serves 8 to 10.
