Poi Mochi

A scrumptious mixture of poi to make a island favorite "poi mochi"...The name says it all!

Ingredients:
1 cup ready to eat Poi
1/2 cup flour
Oil for deep frying
3 tbsp. mochiko flour
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Combine poi, flour, mochiko and sugar, blend well. Batter will be stiff. Heat oil to 375 degrees. Drop batter by teaspoon full into heated oil and fry for 4 minutes or until golden brown to be cooked thoroughly. Drain on absorbent paper.


Serves 24.
