Baked plum and peach cobbler takes perfectly sweet stone fruit and layers it beneath a buttery crust for a killer dessert you'll love to serve.

Baked plum and peach cobbler

Serves 8


  • 2 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced fresh plums
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 cups sugar, divided
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Pour the melted butter into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Stir together the fruit and 1 cup of sugar. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the remaining 1 cup of sugar, flour, milk, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  5. Pour the batter on top of the butter.
  6. Pour the stone fruit and sugar on top of the batter.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, at room temperature or cold.
