We all love Harry Potter and now we get a chance to make our very own sweet butterbeer. Your kids are going to love this!

Harry Potter butterbeer

Are you a big Harry Potter fan? If you have read the book, you have heard about butterbeer. In the real world, there is no true recipe but we have decided to make up a recipe that we think totally fits the description of butterbeer. We made this batch non-alcoholic but don't worry, we give an option if you are looking for a little nip.

Harry Potter butterbeer (non-alcoholic)

Yields 1 drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon imitation rum extract
  • 1 bottle cream soda

Directions:

  1. In a small cocktail glass, add ice, heavy cream and rum extract.
  2. Top with cream soda, give a gentle stir and enjoy.

Adult Harry Potter butterbeer

Yields 1 drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 tablespoon black rum
  • 1 bottle cream soda

Directions:

  1. In a small cocktail glass, add ice, heavy cream, butterscotch schnapps and rum.
  2. Top with cream soda, give a gentle stir and enjoy.
