Canadian Bacon egg and biscuits {Breakfast for dinner}

Breakfast for dinner is the perfect solution to the busy weekday rush. This dish if full of all your favorite fixings and will be sure to add a smile to everyone's face. You can easily bake together in a large dish or cut it in half to feed a smaller crowd.

Canadian bacon egg and biscuits

Yields 4 servings

Ingredients: 

  • 1 (8 count) pack jumbo buttermilk biscuits
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped Canadian bacon (or ham) 
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced basil

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and lay onto the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour egg mixture over the biscuits, top with Canadian bacon and cheese.
  5. Bake for about 35 minutes until the biscuits are puffed, the egg is cooked and the cheese is golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle with basil.
