Bruschetta with goat cheese, honey and figs is one of those dishes that will make everyone you serve it to say, "WOW!" Toasty bread smeared with artisan cheese and topped with fresh figs and floral honey makes for the perfect bite. Add a touch of freshly grated black pepper to tickle the taste buds even more!

Bruschetta with goat cheese, honey and figs

Makes 24 small bruschetta


  • 1 large baguette, sliced into 24 rounds
  • 8 ounces goat cheese, at room temperature
  • 18 ounces dried figs, stemmed and cut in half
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to broil.
  2. Place the baguette slices on a sheet pan and place under the broiler until lightly golden.
  3. Carefully flip the slices and toast on the other side.
  4. Set the baguette slices aside to cool.
  5. In a small bowl, stir the goat cheese to let it get smooth.
  6. Spread the goat cheese evenly on the toasted baguette slices.
  7. Top with 2-4 slices of fig.
  8. Drizzle the top with honey.
  9. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper if desired.
  10. Serve at room temperature.
