Don't hassle with cooking on trick-or-treat night. Instead, whip up some crock-pot goulash made with Halloween pasta in the shape of ghosts, goblins and ghouls. Dinner will be waiting for you whenever you're ready!

Halloween ghoulash recipe

Serves 4-6


  • 1 (16 ounce) package of Halloween-shaped pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  1. Boil water in a large pot on the stove. Once boiling, add the Halloween-shaped pasta. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Pour the olive oil in a large skillet, then add in the ground beef, onion, celery, zucchini and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and meat is browned.
  3. Transfer the meat, vegetables and pasta to a large crock-pot.
  4. Add in diced the tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and spices.
  5. Stir all of the ingredients together and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
