The kids will love this watermelon sherbet pie recipe. What better way to enjoy hot summer days than with cool watermelon pie with chocolate chips for watermelon seeds! This dessert is incredibly simple but has that wow factor that is perfect for summer parties!

Watermelon sherbet pie recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raspberry sherbet
  • 1-1/2 cups lime sherbet
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions: 

  1. Set the raspberry sherbet and lime sherbet out on the counter to soften.
  2. Once the sherbet is softened, mix the 3 cups of raspberry sherbet with 1 cup of mini chocolate chips.
  3. Line a 10-inch pie pan with wax or parchment paper. Pour the raspberry sherbet mixture into the center of the pan, leaving a small space around the perimeter of the pan. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
  4. Pour the lime sherbet in the space left around the perimeter of the pan to form the outer layer of the watermelon pie.
  5. Freeze for 2 hours and slice to serve.
