3 Five-ingredient smoothies
In the hot summer months smoothies are essential to keep cool, not to mention they provide tons of nourishment all in a fun-colored concoction! It does not take much to create a fantastically delicious, nutritious and quick smoothie. Use these four recipes as a guideline to make your own customized creations!

Perfect blueberry smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup milk
- 1 frozen banana, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup ice
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Chocolate cherry bomb smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 frozen banana, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon stevia powder
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Classic green monster smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 2 large frozen bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Directions:
- Stir together the milk and rolled oats and let sit for 5 minutes -- this softens the oats.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
