May is National Salsa Month and what better way to celebrate than by making fresh, homemade salsa! With spring in full swing and delicious fruits coming in season, why not mark the occasion with these exciting fruit salsa recipes!

Strawberry jalapeno salsa

Strawberry-jalapeno salsa recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic dressing

Directions:

  1. Place the chopped strawberries in a large bowl. Drain the mandarin oranges. Chop them into small pieces and add them to the strawberries.
  2. Add the green onions, jalapeno and cilantro to the strawberries. Pour balsamic dressing over the top and toss until evenly coated. Chill and serve.

Mango-cucumber salsa recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 mangos, peeled and diced
  • 1 small cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 white onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeno, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Juice from two limes

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Toss with the juice of two limes, chill and serve.

Kiwi-lime salsa recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 1/8 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice from two limes

Directions: 

  1. Combine kiwi, onions, jalapeno and cilantro in a large bowl. Add the lime juice and toss with the kiwi. Chill and serve.
