Parmesan crusted puff pastry twist sticks recipe
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted
- Olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh black pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut puff pastry into long thin strips, about 1/8-inch wide and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush olive oil on top of the strips. Gently pick up each strip end and twist several times, and repeat with the rest of the strips. Sprinkle with dried herbs, Parmesan cheese and pepper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown. Serve sticks with tomato sauce.
Indian-spiced puff pastry sticks recipe
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted
- Coconut or canola oil
- 1-2 tablespoons garam masala or curry
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut puff pastry into long thin strips, about 1/8-inch wide and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush oil on top of the strips, then sprinkle with garam masala, salt and pepper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown. Serve sticks with lentil soup.
Cinnamon-cocoa sugar sticks recipe
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted
- Butter or coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
- Cinnamon powder, to taste
- Cocoa powder, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut puff pastry into long thin strips, about 1/8-inch wide and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush butter on top of the strips, then sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and cocoa powder.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown. Serve with a vanilla ice cream.
